We currently have the following vacancies at our school:

Office Manager

30 to 37 hours (full or part time available).  Band 3 (£18,500 to £24,998 FTE)  Permanent Variable Contract.

Closing Date for applications: Midnight, Tuesday 17th April 2018.

Interview Date, Thursday 19th April 2018.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the provision of efficient administrative and clerical support for the school to ensure effective operations
  • To ensure value for money
  • To create, maintain, evaluate and develop efficient administrative procedures for the school, maintaining confidentiality as required and working within the safeguarding policies of the school
  • To ensure administrative duties are effectively delegated to school staff
  • To complete in a timely manner records of appropriate compliance and regulation
  • To be the lead role for implementing and training in administration, including the timely completion of registers and assessments
  • Where required, to manage the school administration outside normal hours
  • To be responsible for the administration of Local Governance
  • To be a team member working with Trust Office Managers
  • To undertake such additional administrative and managerial duties as are from time to time reasonably required

School Finance and Administration Assistant

30 to 37 hours (full or part time available).  Band 2 (£15,000 to £20,705 FTE)  Permanent Variable Contract.

Closing Date for applications: Midnight, Tuesday 17th April 2018.

Interview Date, Thursday 19th April 2018.

Main Purpose of the job:

To provide financial administrative support to the Office Manager as required and to undertake any additional or revised duties appropriate to the grading of the post. The Trust reserves the right to revise this job description at any time.

Key Responsibilities:

    • To support the Office Manager by providing and processing data
    • To maintain school finance records
    • To ensure tasks are carried out in accordance with Trust and School policies
    • To maintain confidentiality as required
    • To work within the school’s safeguarding procedures
    • To be proactive in self development and training, with support from your Line Manager
    • To organise methodically, prioritise and plan effectively to meet deadlines
    • To be computer (and specifically, Microsoft Office) literate with use of Word, Excel, Internet and Email
    • To have good communication skills relating well to colleagues, students and families showing empathy and professionalism
    • To be a team member
